CoCo Création finds inspiration from human layers and the myriad possibilities of self-nurturing – should we peel back perceptions of our lives, thoughts, and choices to reach a nothingness from whence a fresh start can happen.
This is an ecological project in an earnest pursuit of addressing the contemporary issue of overconsumption.
From the depletion of the earth’s resources and pollution of the planet, to the exploitation of the vulnerable, all in pursuit of feeding an insatiable dissatisfaction in our society.
A practical step back is upcycling the tons of textile yardage crushing the earth. Designer Joanie Ecuyer explores the arid wasteland of deadstock with her imagination, sewing, inventing, and assembling as she creates unique pieces that celebrate individuality, diversity, and multiculturalism.
The ,,TRIPLEROOT” collection finds its mainstay in the ethos of Noblesse Veritas, a lifestyle of nobility and privilege of either birth or mental conditioning, being experienced with dignity in a quest for truth and reality.
This thought resonates in the showcase, where each creation is defined by the simplest of silhouettes, an elegant mode and a directional look, designed to accentuate the wearer’s femininity and affording her the joy of clothing with attention to immaculate cut, feel and comfort.
