Mercedes-Benz & Master Fashion Week Montenegro was opened last night with Sanja Bobar's collection called ,,Must have that”, made especially for this occasion.
It consisted of jeans (trousers, jackets, dresses, shorts, skirts and shirts) and yellow, pastel silk dresses, black dresses with red hearts, white shirts, striped overall and two-piece outfits.
Tatiana Raskopina showcased her collection for the first time to Montenegrin audience. She presented collection called ,,Savoir Vivre”, made of silk, jacquard, virgin wool, dark denim and cotton.
Dresses and two-piece outfits in checkered pattern, black, white and fuchsia, as well as pastel colours dominated the collection. Combinations were completed with fuchsia, white and checkered hats.
Brand ,,Barbosa” presented the collection of suits, shirts, jackets and shorts for men. Special guests were musician Bojan Marović and presenter Sergej Ćetković.
First and second year students from Fashion design department at UDG, under the leadership of their professor Ana Vasiljević, showcased the collections named ,,Moving into Decay” and ,,Earth Whisper”.
These were very interesting pieces with unusual juncture of materials and views on (non) preservation of the environment by four designers from the first year of studies as well as connection to the past through knights’ details and messages written in Japanese which were presented by five designers from the second year of studies.
Valentina Mitrović (Zvjezdice/Stars) showcased the children's collection which was dominated by yellow and fuchsia colours on monochrome and two-tone dresses and outfits for girls, while the boys wore pants and shirts.
Stars were sewn onto dresses, as well as included on girls’ tiaras.
Brand ,,Hermoda design” presented the collection filled with interesting details, from the flames on the leather jacket to the snakes and hands on two-piece outfits and dresses.
Brand ,,Alina Fashion” by designer Alina Hernandez showcased the collection called ,,Roots”.
Roots, seen on swimsuit capes and dresses, were related to Cuba. Besides that, Hernandez presented swimsuits in pastel, purple and green colours.
The first night of Montenegro Fashion Week was closed by Milena Vujačić, who presented her collection ,,Milena”, made of formal long and short pastel dresses, overalls and pants.
Tomorrow, at the same venue, collections will be presented by Edita Nimanbegu- Barović, Hera design by Mia-Mia Đerić, ,,Moj princ by Ivona Bulatović”, Russel Solomon, Mira and Božica Cvetković-MB contur, Nada Koljenšić, Kristina Marović and Marina Banović.
Official make-up of this Fashion Week is Farmasi, while the team of House of Fashion and Beauty ,,Zoran” is in charge of models’ hairstyles.
The organizer of this event is National Fashion Chamber of Montenegro.
