The collection is inspired by the life of the great Mexican painter Frida Khalo.
Masculinity and femininity collide in the outfits. Designs are modular. They can be transformed to create many styles. Contain intense colours: yellow, green, magenta, red, and blue, but also white and black. Projects from the “Frida” collection include evening dresses, cocktail dresses, unisex suits with trains, and maxi skirts.

The creations surprise with their diversity, just like the personality of Frida Khalo. Textiles used are printed Italian jacquard, guipure, pleated mesh, and embroidered cotton. Non-obvious additions in the form of toques made of painting palettes, and ties add a claw to women's silhouettes, as well as masculinity.

– Pain, pleasure, and death are no more than a process for existence. The revolutionary struggle in this process is a doorway open to intelligence.

– I want to be a designer who can deliver magic, smiles, and happiness to everyone with dresses of many colors that are cute, beautiful, dignified, and bloom like flowers. The dress I make feels like art on a canvas. I put many colors on the canvas. Vividly, gorgeously, with each thought. The motto is Haruka Aya's innovative, gorgeous, and elegant design.
