GFC LONDON FASHION WEEK FW23: Iann Dey, Eduardo Ramos and Blue Tamburin wowed the crowd

Global Fashion Collective (GFC) left the big apple to captivate the crowd with its designers’ fall 2023 collections at London Fashion Week. With designers from Canada, Korea, and Mexico, the audience saw abundant diversity and creativity throughout the show, influential women, and the journey of rebirth.

Iann Dey took London by storm as Iván Gallegos and David Márquez presented their captivating new collection of 16 distinct pieces.
– María Félix La Doña inspires our new collection Félix. Mexican actress and one of the most influential women in our country who stood out for her beauty and personality – says Iván Gallegos.
María Félix marked an era in Mexico for her impeccable performance and becoming an international fashion icon in the 50s.
Félix is made of designs with luxurious textures in vibrant tones such as red, black, gold, silver, and clay. The materials we use for this occasion to give the collection a touch of personality are accompanied by fine crystals, feathers, silk, and hand embroidery.
Ivan Gallegos and David Márquez were born in Zacatecas, Mexico, and Guanajuato, Mexico, respectively, in 1985 and 1984. In 2007 they graduated as Fashion and Footwear Designers from De La Salle Bajío University in León, Guanajuato, Mexico, and thanks to their incredible talent and passion for fashion, had the opportunity to participate in different international competitions, finally won first place at Centro Ricerca E Scuola Internazionale Calzaturiera (CERCAL) in San Mauro Pascoli, Italy.

Eduardo Ramos hit London Fashion Week with his newest collection Initia Nova presented to a packed house.
– I believe that humans go through this process by burning our past. Letting go allows us to be reborn, changing our energy and attracting bigger and better things – says Ramos.
Initia Nova focuses on the journey of rebirth with the phoenix as an inspiration. The collection goes through the color palette of the cycle of the mythical creature. Gray and subdued tones emulating the ashes will hit the runway since we all start from dust, followed by intense orange and red fabrics.
After gaining momentum through his appearances at the Vancouver Fashion Week two years in a row, Eduardo Ramos debuted on the European runway in October 2022 at the Paris Fashion Week.
In tangent to his successful runway shows, Eduardo was approached by the Vancouver Club to design a couture garment for the club’s newest Wedding Campaign.
