SUMMER HIT: Milena Lainović and Beat Bakery bring ,,Paradise” to the dance floor (video)
Montenegrin musician, composer and songwriter Milena Lainović, who lives and works in London, has published a song ,,Paradise”, accompanied by the lyrics video today. This song, perfect for enjoying on the beach and in the clubs, is a fruit of collaboration with the English-Irish duo Beat Bakery. Men behind Beat Bakery are Hypnotyst and Mike Harley.
Concept of the video was done by Lainović, Beat Bakery and Igor Bakić, while animation and editing were made by Bakić.
– I ,,met” guys from the Beat Bakery, an English-Irish duo, consisting of Hypnotyst and Mike Harley, through social networks and I liked what they do, although the music is somehow different in relation to mine. Same was with them, they liked my original music, especially my voice and back vocals, so we communicated on-line for a while and planned to do a project together – says Lainović for Montenegro magazin about the occurrence of this lovely collaboration.
The song ,,Paradise” was created in the time when people could not go out, musicians could not perform live, because London had been in a lock-down for long, because of the covid-19 pandemic, explains our guest.
– We have decided to collaborate more concretely, so we arranged what kind of song we would like to make and elaborated everything down to the smallest detail. I believe that everyone who hears ,,Paradise” can find a piece of hoping and dreaming that we had in that period – says Lainović.
She explains that all three of them wrote the lyrics and the music, arranged it, created it till they reached the final version of both the song and the production that was made by Hypnotyst and Mike Harley.
– We are all pleased. I hope that we were able to pass the positive energy to listeners through the song ,,Paradise” and that in these hot days they will enjoy its rhythm. We have no doubt that we will get a positive response from our UK audience as well (without intending to sound pretentious) – says Lainović.
About Milena Lainović
She was born in Podgorica, in the artistic family. She has been living and working in London since 1999. She was seven years old when she won the first prize at Naša radost Festival in Podgorica. As soloist of Zvjezdice Choir she recorded many children songs, penned by Dragan Radulović – ,,Riba Ala”, ,,Električni slavuj”, ,,Mislionica-mastaonica”, ,,Traži se Čiča Gliša” and more.
Lainović later attended Solo singing at the Music High School in Podgorica and enrolled Music Academy at Cetinje. She plays the piano and the guitar.
Montenegrin audience remembers her performances with Montenegrin musicians. She also worked as a music editor at Radio Crne Gore.
While in London she continues to successfully form her career. She became a member of Lite Motive with whom she recorded an album called ,,Love”, that is at the Hits Sheet compilation, alongside hits from George Michael and Ronan Keating. She sang in famous bands in England and recorded with Buena Vista International.
She published an album ,,Everyday” in September 2017 and in May last year she published the album/EP ,,Higher Hopes”.
