Hakuyo Miya immersed us into a moody and sultry feel with his showcase for Mouton Blanc. Beginning with beautifully black gothic outfits, we were taken on a journey of lace overlays, frayed pants, and loose tailoring. Complimenting matte against shiny textures with oversized hoods, lace masks, and frayed pants, a strong gothic look progressed. A black and white striped dress almost felt like an optical illusion. Shimmering blue brought the collection away from black, and then suddenly white lace and feminine florals breathed a fresh lease of life to the darkness that transpired. A thoroughly well thought out and developed collection.

The grand finale of Wednesday night was an exciting frenzy of performance art; drumming, singing, and dancing gave an incredible introduction to King & Reign. Waterfall hems dominated his designs, with tulle, fur, and capes creating a regal feel.
