CHINESE DELEGATION IN PODGORICA: ,,Kina Medika“ as a model for development of traditional Chinese medicine in the region
During the visit of the Chinese delegation from Sichuan Province due to implementation of the Memorandum of cooperation in the field of planting and processing of Chinese medicinal herbs, signed between the Government of Montenegro and the Republic of China in November 2016 in Riga, the experts of traditional Chinese medicine were in an official visit to the Specialist clinic ,,Kina Medika” in Podgorica.
Specialist clinic „Kina Medika“ represents a branch of Teaching hospital of Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Sichuan Province and on this occasion on 02.20.2017. Vice-Rector of that university, prof. dr. Peng Cheng and Director of ,,Kina Medika” Ms. Zhang Yali, signed another important Memorandum of cooperation and strengthening partnerships. With desire for better development and implementation of numerous projects and promotion of its branch in Montenegro, with the aim of strengthening friendly and partner relations, as well as support to the development of traditional Chinese medicine, scientific and educational work in Montenegro, Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine will provide additional significant support to Specialist clinic ,,Kina Medika”, in order to become a model of branch of teaching hospital in the field of traditional Chinese medicine in the region and the rest of Europe.
The signing ceremony was also attended by His Excellency, the Ambassador of the People's Republic of China in Montenegro, Mr Cui Zhiwei, with his associates.
The signing was followed by free check-ups with Dr Lu Hua, director of the University hospital of Chengdu University and Dean of Faculty of acupuncture, who is one of the most prominent experts in the country regarding women disease. A large number of patients from all over Montenegro took this unique opportunity and expressed their wish for continuation of treatment in clinic ,,Kina Medika”, giving their voice to great confidence in traditional Chinese medicine.
