In the specialist clinic ,,Kina Medika” in Podgorica more such methods of treatment are being practiced – acupuncture, method with glass cups ,,ba guan”, scraping method ,,gua sha” … They believe that in the treatment with some of the methods of ancient Chinese medicine the most important thing is searching for the cause of the disease, and restoring of balance between yin and yang in the human body.
Dr Huang Shile from ,,Kina Medika” says for the MNE magazin that each method aims to restore the disturbed balance of yin and yang in the body of the patient and that way ease his problems and enable effective healing. He uses acupuncture, vacuum glass cups ,,ba guan” and the scraping method ,,gua sha” in the treatment of upper respiratory tract, disease of sense organs, gastrointestinal diseases, skin diseases, diseases of the musculoskeletal system, diseases of the urogenital system, as well as cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases.
Which methods of treatment for patients of apparently good health, as well as with some common diseases, do you use in Specialist clinic ,,Kina Medika”?
– At this point, in our clinic we primarily use herbal therapy, then acupuncture, moxibustion, different types of massage, therapy with vacuum glass cups, scraping technique ,,gua sha” and other methods.
Explanation is needed for each method in terms of what it means, in which case it is indicated, how it is implemented and which effects are expected.
– At the base of each treatment method in traditional Chinese medicine is the principle of balance of yin and yang. Namely, each method is intended precisely to restore the disturbed balance of yin and yang in the body of the patient and in that way ease the problems and enable efficient healing. The doctor of traditional Chinese medicine will certainly follow how the patient reacts to therapy during the very process based on examination and diagnosis that determine which method is best suited for the clinical picture of that patient, so the same could be modified with time. You cannot tell in advance which method is good for certain diseases and ailments, so it solely depends on that specific case. Therefore, generalization of certain effects of treatment is avoided in Chinese medicine, it insists on individual approach to each patient.
Do you practice treatments that involve combining two or more methods in some specific state?
– In most cases, use of one method is practiced in the treatment. However, if the situation and condition of the patient requires it and if one method is not enough for some more complicated case, then two or more methods can be used simultaneously.
Can patients of all ages apply the above mentioned methods?
– Patients of all ages can absolutely use all of these methods in the treatment with no problem, in accordance with a previous diagnosis and expert doctor’s opinion.
Are there cases (such as pregnancy, diagnosis of some systemic diseases, cancer … and so on) when their use is contraindicated?
– Methods of treatment in traditional Chinese medicine are extremely safe and effective in respect of the laws of nature and ecological principles, therefore their contraindications are kept to a minimum.
Does the effect of treatment enhances in some cases if, by conducting certain methods, a combination of natural drugs as oral therapy is used?
– It is possible to combine some of the methods such as acupuncture and moxibustion with tea therapy and herbal therapy, but of course only if the principle of such treatment will ensure the quickest, most efficient and highest quality treatment.

– At the moment those are acupuncture and massage, but our friends from Montenegro had really shown a great interest in other methods, too, as well as to generally learn more about the Chinese medicine.
